Professional education received at the Virginia Polytechnic and State University (Master of Architecture, 1975; Bachelor of Architecture, 1973). Associate Professor at the University of Florida Department of Architecture and Director of the Preservation Institute: Caribbean (PI:C). Has also taught at Kansas State University, Louisiana State University, VPI&SU, and Catholic University. Professional architectural work or consulting for various architectural and other firms, including work in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. With PI:C he has been involved in preservation projects in Antigua Guatemala, the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico, and several islands of the Caribbean. Also has expertise on electronic media and their application to architectural and preservation concerns. Member of the Canter for Latin American Studies of the University of Florida (Executive Council), the Committee on Electronic Visualization in Education, of Investigative Research Television (Board of Advisors), the F1orida Media Arts Center (Board of Advisors)) the Florida Research Ensemble (founding member), and the Interdisciplinary Media Studies Program at U.F. (Board of Advisors).
